The word is out and Official now!

Press Releases | Amateur Radio Digital Communications (ardc.net)

This is really fantastic news for the whole FreeDV project, and we can’t wait to get to work on making the magic happen.

Many thanks to all, as we break into this new and exciting journey.

Hi Walter,

Running FreeDV on Low Power SBCs (Small Board Computers) using the 2020x Neural Network modes
has just been made possible on the < $100 US Odroid M1 board. These quad core ARM cortex-a55 based boards
ran the decode test of a five sec audio in three secs when using "threads" over two cores.

This opens up the possibility of low power mobile and portable operation.

Jean-Mark Valin pointed me to his latest Neural Network code on Github.
I added the "thread" code to his "lpcnet_demo" with this success.

Sounds like a neat project.

Please keep us posted on the testing and progress of that.

Many thanks,
